Three projects make up the Bankstown Stories:

Storytelling Dolls 1 and 2, a collection of stories created by Chester Hill Neighbourhood Centre Seniors Discussion Group and artist Jane Calthorpe. The project was made possible with the support of the Australia Council for the Arts, the Commonwealth Government arts funding body, and the New South Wales government through the NSW Ministry for the Arts.

Culture on Wheels, cultural activities for older people with artist Thao Nhi La paintings and Leigh Colacino drawings. The project, a partnership with the Greenacre Lions Club, was made possible with a grant from Bankstown City Council.

The projects were coordinated by Identity, Environment & Art for Bankstown Health Service Arts for Health Program.
